PondScapes Atlanta was created in July 2001. PondScapes Atlanta has always tried to work with nature, not against it. We try very hard to keep a natural balance between plants, fish and people. Our scope of work is simple: Water Features! We build and repair all types of water features from large Koi ponds to Pondless Water features. We also do a great deal of maintenance, both residential and commercial. Monthly service plans are available and are more affordable than you think. We also have extensive knowledge of all types of pond systems, including bead filtration. We do not subscribe to one method of filtration over another. Instead we use our extensive working background to choose the best system and components for the application.

The creator and owner, Richard Carter, has a bachelor of science from the University of Georgia, specializing in fisheries and aquaculture. He has been keeping fish for over 15 years, and building and fixing ponds for ten years. Along the way, and in school, Rich learned a great deal about treating and diagnosing fish diseases and parasites. After managing various fish hatcheries and fish stores, Rich felt he needed a more challenging career. Always a people person, he felt like PondScapes Atlanta was the way to go.

Richard has always had a lot of motivation and drive, and expects that out of all of his employees. All the people we employ have an excellent work ethic and job skills. We work together well, and have a lot of fun doing an excellent job. There is nothing better than seeing a landscape plan come to fruition. We always cater to the specific wants of the client, after all it's not our pond, it's theirs! Thanks to a lot of great clients and hard work, PondScapes Atlanta has been realized!
